WHAT'S INCLUDED
Working from a live model each day, you will deepen your understanding of anatomy in real time, allowing you to see, analyze, and interpret the human form in its raw, unfiltered beauty.
Roberto masterfully combines step-by-step lectures that introduce the foundational elements of human anatomy with practical drawing sessions. Participants transition from theory to application, transforming their newfound knowledge into captivating sketches on paper in an approachable and systematic way.

All drawing materials needed for this workshop are included, we will be working with a mix of Pencil, Charcoal, and Sanguin chalk.
Refreshments are available throughout the day for you to recharge during breaks, and delicious home-cooked Italian lunches create the perfect opportunity to bond and exchange with the instructor and other students in a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere.

No previous anatomy knowledge is required to take this class, Roberto will tailor his teaching to all levels, and beginners through to advanced students are welcome.

You will be staying at Baglio Custera, a boutique hotel in the heart of Marsala’s countryside. Known for its gardens and luxurious swimming pool, this modern resort stands on the Rakalia hill, the site of an ancient shrine to Hercules, surrounded by olive and orange groves. Baglio Custera is a brand new hotel built on ancient lines, those of the "baglio," or farmhouse.

From start to finish you will enjoy the extraordinary cuisine of he region influenced by the unique flavors of the Mediterranean including garden-fresh vegetables, ancient grains, and seafood. All meals, accommodation, and daily ground transport are Included in your package, including a celebratory welcome dinner with Samantha.

Roberto Osti's artistic journey began in the historic corridors of Italy and has since left an indelible mark on the global art landscape. After graduating with an MFA from the esteemed New York Academy of Art, Osti's dedication to his craft was further highlighted with two merit scholarships and a coveted workshop under the tutelage of the renowned British painter, Jenny Saville.
His foundational years at Bologna University saw him specializing in the intricate realm of Anatomical/Surgical Drawing, from which he graduated with honors. The State Institute of Art in Bologna further sharpened his prowess, solidifying his place as a master anatomist.
Beyond his own personal artistic achievements, Roberto has dedicated himself to understanding and teaching human anatomy. His lectures at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and at Drew University span topics ranging from the "Visual History of Medicine" to the interdisciplinary "The Body Between Art and Science." His instructional roles at Bloomfield College and the Yard School of Art at the Montclair Museum of Art stand as a testament to his versatility across various art mediums.
